Studying at PHFI was a great experience. PHFI is best for providing online courses for the students those are really interested in the public health field but cannot attend on-campus courses. Anybody majoring in other fields can access courses according to their convenience and can serve the community in future. Lectures are up –to-date and study material is easy to learn, faculty is very helpful, one can attempt quizzes and tests more than once .Really helpful in enhancing knowledge and leadership skills to guide tobacco users as being a BDS doctor and to pursue my interest in public health profession.

Congratulations for creating the Certificate Course on Tobacco Control. Tobacco-smoking or smokeless both are burning issues of today. I work in Corporate Health for past many years and from my experience I feel that this menace is on increase. More and more youth and especially females are becoming addicted to tobacco. The course on Tobacco control is not only interesting but informative too. I came across many important facts about tobacco smoking through this course. The contents are very useful and related to my work. After completing this course I feel empowered to deal with problems of this addiction and can help and encourage people to quit smoking. My sincere thanks to the team of this course who were ever ready to help and guide throughout the course.

Studying at PHFI was a memorable experience for me. The syllabus is up-to-date and study materials easy to learn, the faculty, counsellors were helpful. PHFI’s distance learning courses are must do for healthcare professionals.

One of the best courses i have attended which was spot on in terms of assignments, tests and regular updating through the online classes. I have found this course by PHFI as one of the innovative online programme where one can attempt the quizzes several times to update one self and also understand the real life issues. The notes provided including the av materials were very useful. Constantly following up on the portal will enable one to perform well. There is a need for more Public health professionals in our country with Swachh Bharath coming into lime light, this course is a must obtained one.

Generally medical personnel especially doctors are less equipped with program planning, managerial & leadership skills. Though some of the management principles, program planning, financial planning etc. were part of PG curriculum in MD-Community Medicine, students as well as teachers usually don’t prioritize it. Designing such a wonderful & comprehensive course is very helpful in gaining and refining skills. The presentations are informative and the faculties are very cooperative throughout the course. I really thank IIPHG for providing me an opportunity to be a part of the program. At last, I thank Mr. Jignesh Joshi and Mr. Jignesh Contractor for providing immediate support whenever there was any technical problem.

The course was very much useful to me; now I can able to understand the basics of the EHS management. And the practical examples which were provided in the lecture from their experience are remarkable. Now I understand what is health, safety and environment, how it should be taken care in the work places.

As being a MBBS, many new things were received by me. It is very useful in my day to day practice and also in legal aspect of the practice. I learned many things which is not possible to describe in details here. And it is due to you and your team hard explain capacity only. I am thankful to all of you with respect. And my experience on over all is very nice.

The course is well thought and definitely a leap towards the concept of health, safety and environment management.

The idea behind the course is commendable and I my opinion, after a few modifications it would really help the students to upgrade their knowledge and skills about the health and safety standards in India. Being a public health post-graduate, I feel this course can widely help in understanding our surroundings and can deliver to the implement the safety norms at any workplace with more responsibility. I am familiar with online study and the various learning portals. It helped to actively use the technology. Though it was really hard for me to understand the HSE subject as I found it to be more complex, but I did gain brief knowledge about health and safety.

The course structure is excellent covering almost all the aspects of the Health Safety and Environment Management. It definitely helped me to understand the core idea and concepts safety management. The course syllabus has no issues. It is very interesting and it provided that basic platform for further detailed study in the same field. Though it went very well with me and hopefully with every other candidate, I would like to suggest that providing literature for individual subject would be the additional advantage for the learners and might make learning more easy and effective.
